Let PAWS be a part of your everyday mobility. Get to work with ease and take care of the shopping on the way home. Seize your daily opportunities with confidence. Get busy with PAWS! PAWS City may be ordered with either a 12” or 14” front wheel and is designed primarily for city travelling. Choose 12” for the smoother roads or 14” if you expect a few more bumps. With a 1m turning circle, it is great indoors as well. It likes hard ground and even surfaces, but can also cope with uneven pavement and curbs.

The PAWS system has many options to suit most frame types with no need for additional brackets that would usually add weight to your wheelchair frame!
Auto Clamping System
The PAWS auto system takes the effort out of attaching the PAWS to your wheelchair, just wheel up to it press a button and away you go! With the auto clamp and lift system a press of the button clamps the PAWS to your frame and then lifts the castors off the floor for you. (see video above).
Tetra Controls
Tetra controls opens up the opportunity for anyone with limited hand function to use the PAWS. The controls operate the accelerator and the brakes. An additional button operates the parking brake.

Do you like going to new places? With PAWS you can feel confident even in unexplored terrain. PAWS Tourer has the longest wheelbase so while the big wheel overcomes roots and uneven terrain, it is also makes a smooth ride while touring. PAWS Tourer is the true off-road stager. With a 20” wheel and 4” fat tyre, you will easily get to places that would be difficult for other models. Designed primarily for off-road purposes, it is not afraid of sand, gravel, stones.. Get your PAWS in the dirt!

What We Think
Rehasense were kind enough to bring the PAWS Tourer to us for our Director James to try. James is a full time wheelchair user and has experience with power attachments so was able to put it through its paces and give his opinion on the range:-
"The PAWS range is a great setup which you can virtually take out of the box and use without having to attach any brackets to the wheelchair itself which can add additional weight and make the wheelchair more cumbersome. I love the traction control which works in all the speed modes as traction can be an issue with other similar attachments which offer high torque. The addition of cruise control is also a nice feature.
The Tourer has a nice fat wheel that will be great on softer terrain. Coupled with some fat wheels on the wheelchair I can imagine it would cope on the firmer sand on beaches.
I have tried the Auto Clamp & Lift system and the Manual Clamp System and both are really simple to use. Anyone with weak hand and arm function would really benefit from the Auto system."
