We offer a wide variety of disabled bathing aids in store as well as our accessible bathroom showroom which allows you to see some of the different bathing solutions available from our company Ability Bathing Ltd. Below are just a selection of our best selling bathing aids we supply in store.

Bellavita Bath Lift

 

  • At the touch of a button, gently lowers users down to bottom of bath for bathing and relaxation then raises them to top again for safely getting out

  • The backrest reclines to a maximum angle of 50 degrees, operated easily by the hand control and enabling the user to relax in comfort

  • Front aperture in seat improves access for personal hygiene

  • Can be used with or without covers; washable hygienic covers are easily fitted/removed and provide comfort when bathing (available in white or blue)

  • Very low seat travel of 6cm (2.4”) from bottom of bath allows improved water immersion, ideal for shallow bath

  • A seat height of 48cm (19”) enabling easy and safe transfers in and out of the bath

  • At 9.3kg the Bellavita is very lightweight making it easy to install and remove from the bath

  • Separates easily and quickly into 2 lightweight sections for ease of fitting/removal, storage and transportation

Bath Bench

Bath benches can be used in the bath or shower offering support and comfort for those who can't stand for long whilst showering or need to shower in the bath. Bath Benches are available with or without backrests and the option to have one that folds away.

 

The rubber suction style feet reduce the risk of the bench slipping and handles help with sitting and standing. All Benches are height adjustable with a simple push button. Drainage holes in the seat reduce slipping and comply with entrapment regulations. Aluminium frame is lightweight, durable and corrosion proof

Long Handled Bathing Sponge

​

Our most popular sponge is available in three styles. These lightweight sponges feature soft polyfoam attached to a plastic handle. These versatile sponges also can be used for a variety of household tasks. The scrub sponge has a loofah-style surface on one side. Bath sponges are available with round or contoured sponges and the Scrub Sponge is available in the round style only. Handle can be shaped with a heat gun. All three sponges measure 130mm (5") in diameter.

Foot Cleaner with Pumice

Washing your feet can be one of the more challenging parts of bathing so this foot cleaner with pumice is ideal for washing your feet without the need to bend forward. Can be used in a bath or shower by attaching the suction cups. Use the pumice to gently exfoliate and smooth your feet.

Slatted Bath Boards

​

  • Fits across top of bath to facilitate access in and out

  • Used with a bath seat, it assists with getting lower into bath; can also be used independently for an over-bath shower

  • Available in 3 different lengths for varying bath widths, and with 4 or 6 slats to suit support requirements

  • Suitable for acrylic and enamel baths

  • Easy fitting to bath using 2 adjustable plastic brackets.

  • Lightweight and sturdy PVC construction with internal corrugated plastic for extra strength

  • Slat spacing allows water drainage and complies with entrapment regulations

  • Smooth, accessible surfaces for comfort and ease of cleaning

  • Maximum user weight: 190kg (30st).

Wall Fixed, Folding Shower Seats​

 

​Shower seats that are fixed to the wall are the perfect solution for anyone who needs to sit down whilst showering whether it's for the whole duration of showering or just for a rest/safety when washing those trickier areas. Being fixed to the wall offers extra security over free standing benches and stools with the added bonus that they fold up close to the wall to save space if someone else will be using the shower and they do not require a seat.

We offer several different styles to suit your bathroom style. We can even fit them for you (when we have availability). **PLEASE NOTE a suitable wall is needed to attach these safely.**
